Sara Fagerlie, PhD, CHCP is founder of Cancer Communicator, LLC dedicated to reducing clinical gaps in the care of all patients with cancer. Dr Fagerlie previously served as Director of Scientific Services at Educational Concepts Group and Senior Director of Content Development at Medscape. Dr Fagerlie earned her PhD in molecular and medical genetics from Oregon Health and Science University and BS degrees in biochemistry and mathematics from the University of Washington. Dr Fagerlie is a current member of the American Society of Hematology (ASH), American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), Alliance for Continuing Education in the Health Professions (ACEHP), International Federation of Journalists (IFJ), and Association of Health Care Journalists (AHCJ).
