As artificial intelligence (AI) technologies continue to advance and integrate into the CME/CPD field, it is crucial for our community to have a clear framework for responsible and ethical AI use. In response to the growing interest and need expressed by Alliance members, the AI Taskforce has initiated the development of a comprehensive set of guidelines designed to address the unique challenges and opportunities posed by AI in our field.
This poster presentation will showcase the guidelines developed by the AI Task Force, providing attendees with a detailed overview of the key areas and topics covered. The guidelines have been informed by similar documents from related organizations and the Task Force's own expertise, and are intended to serve as a practical resource for Alliance members seeking to navigate the complex landscape of AI in CME/CPD.
Throughout the poster, real-world case studies and examples will be presented to illustrate how the guidelines can be applied in various CME/CPD scenarios, emphasizing their practical value and relevance to the daily work of Alliance members. Attendees will have the opportunity to review the guidelines in detail, ask questions, and provide valuable feedback and insights through an online form.
The poster will also highlight the AI Task Force's plans for next steps and future initiatives related to the guidelines, including the development of continuing education programs and a series of articles to be published in the Almanac as additional resources to support members in implementing the guidelines effectively.
