Steven Kawczak, PhD, CHCP, FACEHP

Dr. Kawczak is the co-medical director of the Center for Continuing Education, medical director of the Center for International Medical Education and director of Professional Development at Cleveland Clinic. He is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Cleveland Clinic’s Lerner College of Medicine, and leads the Educators Collaborative, a community of educators across the Cleveland Clinic. He has been active in continuing medical education (CME) for over twenty years, implementing educational collaborations globally, developing training for education planners and directing educational program design, accreditation implementation and evaluation. His areas of interest include CME and quality improvement, issues of bias in medical education and the humanities and medicine, specifically on cultural approaches to end of life care. Dr. Kawczak is a Past-President of the Alliance for Continuing Education in the Health Professions.
